Hello~

My name is Dominique Marlier, I am an artist from North Rhine-Westphalia. Once to be found under 'yukiryuuzetsu', I decided to drop this artist name in November 2022 to accept my real name as my artist name.

My mother tongues are German and French. I was born in Düren in 1995. I grew up in Germany, spent however a huge amount of time in France also, with my family and in holiday camps. Surrounded by comics, manga, illustrated books and influenced by numerous animated films, I quickly discovered my passion for drawing and art, which is why I decided to complete a Fachabitur in design after secondary school and then attended the Kölner Design Akademie to study " Illustration and Graphic Design". Since then I have been pursuing my dream of living from art and illustration.

When it comes to personal artworks, I enjoy letting go of whatever I am feeling at the moment.

In the illustrative area I am especially interested in illustrating books and everything that has to do with music, such as album covers, but am also curious to step out of my comfortzone.

Most of the time I paint traditionally. My materials are watercolour, ink, graphite, gouache and acrylic paint.
